Audio To Animation Tutorial

This was a tutorial we took to understand how to make a video clip, or even a word, move to the beat of the song.

In the first video, a word can be seen changing size as the beat also increases and decreases in speed. This is because the word is linked to the speed of the audio, making what you see on the screen fit with the beat, reversing in size as the beat slows down again and pulses during fast paced areas of the song.

In the Second video, the same thing was done by with the video clip. As the beats wave increases and decreases, the clip will change it's pace to fit to the song. This means the clip will reverse when the song goes into negative numbers and will jump about to the song.

The wave form from the song can alter the videos speed too. If it goes into negative wave numbers, lowest point, it can make the video clip reverse and then go forward again when the clip speeds up again.

This taught me how I could use these techniques when creating my music videos and gives me inspiration for ideas that I could do in my final music video.
