Getting A Band/Artist For Music Video
For our music video project, we were challenged to find an unsigned artist or band to create a music video for. After looking on websites like Unsigned.com and looking through YouTube, we came across Shoot the Moon. After listening to their music, we decided to email them to see if it was possible to create a music video for them. Their manager, Josh, replied and said the band would love to make a music video with us.
The song we will be creating a music video for is called "Something Like This." It's under their genre of Ska Punk which makes it very easy to come up with a music video for the style of the song. The song is fast paced which allows much more freedom on the style of the video we can produce. After being given the lyrics to this song, it makes it much more simpler to understand the story and to create a narrative style of video for it.
