Multi-Cam Edit-Music Video Test

In Premiere Pro CC, We learnt how to do multi-cam edits. We learnt how to set up the multi-cam edit in Premiere and edited the video with a few clicks of four buttons.

This is practice for our editing for our music videos we shall be recording in the near future. Some advantages of this editing is that you don't have to sift through lots of raw footage and edit them in separately because you can see all of the clips at once. These type of editing also allows the audio to be lined up automatically, meaning there are no audio complications and syncing issues with the video. Another advantage is that the video can still be edited afterwards, being able to change one section to a different camera if you clicked on the wrong video camera.

Some disadvantages could be that the footage doesn't have an audio spike, meaning the footage doesn't line up correctly. Also if you are on one camera and want to move to another because the shot looks good, by the time you click the button the shot may be gone and you will get the wrong shot. Another disadvantage of this editing is that you may not know the shots on each camera, making it harder to click on the right camera at their best shots. This could mean that you end up re-editing the video in the same fashion because you didn't know the footage you were given. Although this is only a small problem, it can cause your work to become repetitive when you have to edit it again every time you may mess up.
